Bull Run Fever
Digital Chocolate, 2007
Bull Run Fever is a simulation of the ‘San Fermines’ Running of the Bulls festival that takes place every summer in Pamplona. Players, who are given the choice between playing as an ‘Expert’ character or as ‘German Girl’, have to survive a chase up eight narrow cobbled streets while collecting the letters that make up the word ‘fermines’ in order to obtain a reward and unlock a third character. The streets are filled with various items, some of which boost the players’ speed and some of which hinder progress. Players can also buy themselves a little extra time by tipping barrels of wine into the path of the approaching bulls, but in general the pace of the game is relentless.
Bull Run Fever was entirely conceived and developed by the Barcelona studio under my management.
